- So SBF made a bobo. The End?! I'm confused with this "interview," and I am more confused than ever. * So SBF didn't know anything that was going on with Alameda. How? And where are the follow-ups on how that is actually possible? * Who runs a multi-billion dollar company without a CFO or a board? Where's the follow-up? * Who invests in a "legitimate" company with no board or a CFO? * How did the Bahamian gov get access to funds? And what legal grounds did they have to just take them? * Who has backdoor access to the systems to siphon funds like that? * All U.S. customers can be made whole... does that translate to if I paid the American investors off at the expense of international FTX users, then maybe the American regulators won't come after me, and this can go away? * Why the fuck was he shaking the whole time? * Was Mommy and daddy in the room? * Where is Caroline and the other dipshit who I forgot his name? Are they still in contact? * Was the purpose of this interview to make us feel bad for the little shit? Edit: meant to say boo-boo

- Staking on Phantom & Validators I'm taking some of my Holiday fund and squirrelling it away into staking. The thing is, I don't know which one is the best and for what reason. I know Solana Beach is great and I know Pop Headz recently launched their validator as well. I've heard some things about Jump too. Any feedback would be great!

- Tether USDT: Cold shower or Blessing? **USDT, the world's largest Stablecoin, is embarking on an "Ultimate Distribution". The decentralised $USTBonus and $USDTReward offer is controversial because only $1,000,000 can be claimed "for reasons of long-term security and stability, as well as for more streamlined liquidity" – Coindesk** Link: [here](https://cointelegraph.com.co/news/47536735) I think there is no ambiguity between usdc and tether usdt. Indeed USDT is well above usdc but this is factual, I think this airdrop will give a boost to the market in general, this is very good news so I mind ask what is the best for you, USDT or USDC ? I thought bear market would end because BTC and ETH are up 3%+ and other alts are even up 4-5% recently. This confirms the bottom is in and it’s essentially bull season again. Alts out performing BTC and ETH with such massive movements in a short time frame only lends credence to what we’ve all been waiting for and expecting- holiday pumps. Of course the market would rebound right after thanksgiving because everyone is feeling so charitable and in the holiday spirit.

- Can Crypto pump as fast as it can dump? You know they say Bulls take the stairs, Bears jump out the window. Looking back the last 12 months Crypto seems to do exactly this. Slowly creeping up some days, then go down 10 to 30 percent in a matter of hours. I am in Crypto since 3/2021. Do you OGs remember times when prices went up more than 10% in a day? Please tell me yes, cause I need some hopium to look forward for the possibility of an incoming bullrun.

- Question regarding BTC’s market rate relative to inflationary currencies Something I've been wondering: Right now, obviously there are larger macro-economic and socio-political factors at play that are suppressing BTC's market value. However: * BTC is a deflationary asset * USD - and other national currencies - are inflationary assets If you are to value BTC against the American dollar with these two factors in mind, would it not be reasonable to expect the market value of BTC - relative to USD - to increase based on both of these factors? As in, BTC's value increases over time due to its decreasing *new* supply (mining rewards halving), but also simultaneously gains relative strength over the USD simply due to inflationary pressure on the USD? If this is the case, I think this relative gain in strength simply due to lack of inflationary effects (which all other currencies are exposed to) could be one of the largest driving factors in BTC gaining value relative to national currencies - especially given the current situation with high inflation. Once these broader market factors pass, one would expect that BTC would reflect this in its USD market rate - would it not?

- I have no clue what is going on and at this point I’m to afraid to ask… Eth2? Side-chains? layer 2s? Locked stake? wrapped eth? How is all of this going to work? Dapps are moving from eth to sidechains and layer 2s, will they move back to eth2 when it is released? Will they move to eth2 for a year or two and then have to move back to layer 2s or side-chains if ETH gets congested? I can't wrap my head around how all of these ERC-20 tokens keep up with this all? A layer ones main job is to be stable and not change a lot. ETH has made so many changes so fast it has my head spinning. How is this sustainable?

- Steelman me: CBDCs won’t change anything. I've never heard a convincing argument that CBDCs will materially change anything. It appears to be a rehash of the usual "they're about to implement martial law" or "they're gonna make me go vegan" tropes. Frankly I think all the surveillance that people are freaking out about is already here, keep in mind that your purchases are already registered and logged at almost all retailers, and if you pay by card, own a smartphone etc then your location, purchases, personal info is all kept by private companies and freely accessible to the government already. Amazon stores your purchase data indefinately. PRISM is understood to monitor *all* internet activity globally. Your browsing and purchases have been logged by government agencies for over a decade. Any form of tyrannical control over markets can be done already if your government chooses to. A functioning democracy would need to legislate to regulate people's purchases. The law would fall upon retailers, payment providers and individuals. The same way tobacco is regulated - the buyer and the seller can both be prosecuted for unlawful purchases. That happens irrespective of the payment method. If the government can legistale the Fed's CBDC to force you to buy vegan food, then they can also simply legislate Walmart and Visa to do it too. And dictatorships already announce the regulation of purchases regardless of how you pay. The CBDC argument also fails the common sense test - plenty of tyranny and control of goods and services exists withou the help of CBDCs, from Venezuela to North Korea, to milder examples like the regulation of tobacco and alcohol in developed nations. Additionally, things like rationing and temporary restrictions have also existed without CBDCs, from food in WW2 to PS5s at Gamestop. Eggs are rationed where I live right now because of bird flu. If lack of CBDCs and digital tech was the only thing that kept us from tyranny, then the USSR in the 1980s would have been a free-market paradise - Cash only, no cards, no computers. In reality, it was the opposite. I think people are so reactionary and shallow in their understanding of politics and control that they're focussed on a complete red herring here. Frankly it reminds me of the Capitol Insurrection crowd, who espoused great concern about surveillance and control yet willingly used smartphone apps that recorded their location to private companies that were then subpoenaed by the government. If you have a smartphone, a Visa card and a social media account, then I cannot take your fears about CBDC privacy seriously. I think everything that people are afraid of about CBDCs is already here. And I worry that hysteria over CBDC leads people to ignore the true invasions of our privacy like PRISM, social media companies, big tech etc.

- Anyone have info on these upcoming products/projects? 1. Lace. Has anyone been contacted about the lace explorers beta? Signed up when it was first announced and haven’t heard anything. 2. Midnight side chain. I have searched everywhere and can’t find any additional info beyond what was released at Scotfest /summit. I am particularly interested in how it will supposedly have some security properties inherited from Cardano proper and also any details on the Midnight consensus mechanism? Thanks.

- How to make a snapshot INCLUDING tokens parking in liquidity pairs, on Polygon? Hello guys, We are going to migrate the world-first Athletic Career Token on Polygon (working from April 2021, previous blockchain is dying, we see Polygon as the first choice atm). The core feature of this token is: re-distribution of prize money, endorsement & advertising money earned by a pro athlete to token holders, in MATIC. So token holders will receive payouts in MATIC soon after our athlete won / earned during competition or sponsorship contracts. The distribution itself gonna be done through disperse which seems to be Polygon-compatible. The problem is: how to make a snapshot including tokens locked in liquidity pair on DEXes? so holders who provide their tokens for liquidity won't be discriminated. thanks in advance for your ideas.

- Is Monero double spend resistant? Hello I am concern about if Monero can be double spend before having a confirmation, I use BTC Cash and it has 0-conf cause it follows the rule "first seen, first included" means that when you broadcast the transaction, the miners will include the first transaction that was broadcast to the network, and now it has double spend proofs. Does monero has something similar or I need to wait for at least 1 confirmation? TLDR: does Monero have 0-confirmation transactions, or it can be double spend before having the first confirmation?

- Best books for someone with intermediate (mainly philosophical) understanding of BTC? I have an academic background in philosophy & economics and have read "big picture" books like The BTC Standard. Overall, I think I have a solid understanding of why BTC is useful. However, I am essentially illiterate when it comes to computer programming. For example, I know what the general difference between proof of work vs. proof of stake is, however, I don't really understand what exactly these algorithms are that are being solved and what changes about them to make them more/less difficult. Similarly, I read about the 24.0 update and basically had no idea what they were talking about. In general, I'm looking for a book that focuses on the technical/coding details of BTC, but isn't meant for coders. Something similar to the For Dummies series, like, "BTC Technicals for Dummies." Although I prefer books, I am also open to other suggestions on how people who don't know anything about coding learned more about the code that runs bitcoin. I'm hoping to avoid books/content that cover the general topics mentioned in BTC Standard.

- Resources about BTC and the energy grid Hello all. I am putting together a presentation about bitcoin mining and how it helps secure the energy grid. Could you help point me to resources that I can do some further reading on this? Please link, articles, websites, anything that is reputable and wouldn't be embarrassing to use as a reference. I'm looking to specifically learn more about: * BTC mining securing the energy grid * Anything that debunks bitcoin energy related FUD * Anything that specifically relates to existing nuclear fission power plants taking bitcoin initiatives or incorporate bitcoin related projects Thanks!

- Build an app store on Cardano? With the resent talks about Apple and Google acting as gatekeepers to apps through their app stores, I was wondering if it would potentially be possible to build an app store on Cardano? I know that there are some restrictions on both iOS and Android with their owners restricting (to different extend) download of apps outside their respective stores. But what if we look past that? How could we store apps on the blockchain? Would it even be beneficial to build it on the blockchain?

- DOT – Future performance thoughts? Wanted to see if anyone is invested in DOT and what are your thoughts going forward. I am an investor in DOT and follow Polkadots and Web3 social media channels to keep up to date with their activities. It's encouraging to see their developer activity is one of the highest after Ethereum and I quite like the way they go about their business without aggressive marketing and hype. This includes the DOT community who aren't out to shill the coin. I'm looking forward to seeing how Polkadot develops going forward as I see a bright future hopefully. Do you see Polkadot being a marketing leader in their field?

- Crypto Tax and Exchange Questions I have bought my crypto almost 2 years ago via Coinbase and have recently moved my coins to my Ledger wallet and a crypto stake pool. Regarding getting taxed for my coins, how does that work? should I transfer my coins back to the original exchange when its time to sell (don't plan to sell but whenever that will be) or should I transfer my coins to a different exchange due to not trusting any current exchanges? How does it work when it comes to being taxed, does it get tracked by my wallet addresses? Feel free to leave your comments below, thank you!
