- Am I able to get $nICE on Avalanche, if so, how?? I currently have a bag of $ICE but it seems silly to hold unless I am able to stake it on Avalanche. I don't want to go over to Ethereum to do so, I know you can stake $SPELL with $sSPELL but Trader Joe doesnt seem to have $nICE. Is $nICE coming soon to Avalanche or something?

- What do you dislike about the cryptoverse? So I had to repost because of some Rules. (\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_) So its almost end of the year, pretty confident to say we wont get a 100k BTC or 10k ETH (please let me be wrong as always). We are all filled with anger and frustration the couple of last weeks because those little (\_\_\_\_) ain't making us rich fast enough! Not to even talk about them (\_\_\_\_\_) ALTS. I think it is a good time to let out some of that anger and frustration to heal and cleanse ourselves for the upcoming (\_\_\_\_\_) (\_\_\_\_\_) 2022 (\_\_\_\_\_)RUN (\_\_\_\_\_\_)CYCLE. So what are some of the most infuriating things you came across this year in the world of crypto or better yet: What do you hate about Crypto? What sets you off. For example: I get really triggered every time someone promotes their bag holdings (obligatory: Regardless on what platform this occurs) with: "Just look at the fundamentals" "the fundamentals are just there" "Just read the whitepaper" "its a really good project" "it simply has the best tech". We all know that you don't know "much" about their fundamentals and the only reason you probably bought into it is because you got shilled by some other random person about it. And even if you have actually read the whitepaper, lets be honest you have no clue what it actually says. So just be honest and tell me, I don't know man I just like the name. Then the more skilled shillers are a bit more prepared and will give you a more in detail response with: It's a layer 2 solution! Or ZKrollup's will be really big and its the best one, It makes use of sharding! "Don't be silly", you have no clue what any of those things actually mean and neither does 99,69% of this forum category. You probably can't even explain what Blockchain is to a friend without googling it first. Better yet, are you actually able to even explain it to yourself?? Stop pretending to be an expert. AAAAAAAAAAAAARHGH. There... that makes me feel so much better now that I got it off my chest. Now I am all set for a whole new year of Shillings to come. Your turn, let it all out. And (\_\_\_\_\_) Robinhood. 1 2

- Is the Avalanche Wallet browser extension for chrome/brave legit? I generally like using browser extensions for my wallets. Is the Avalanche Wallet browser extension for chrome/brave legit? There are only two reviews. And the official wallet website makes no mention of a browser extension. Here is the link to the extension: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/avalanche-wallet-avax-wal/pnfppegmgdomhndfgocelcpjajmfhijm Thanks! Edit: seems like everyone thinks the extension isn't genuine. How can we report this to have it removed?

- Found ETH in my AVAX wallet on MetaMask UPDATE: MetaMask defaults to the ETH label when you don’t specific a label. I just sent a small amount of AVAX to an ETH wallet no biggie. I found some ETH in my AVAX wallet and I couldn’t figure out how to get it over to my ETH wallet to use on Uni swap. I sent to my another ETH address and now it’s disappeared. Should I be worried?

- I just paid $65 to deploy a contract on Fuji, is this common? The contract is really simple, the template with modification on the supply and name. $65 is something I could afford for professional projects, but for my personal projects seems excessive. Is this something common and regular?

- New to AVAX – General Questions and Where to Begin? Good afternoon everyone, Apologies for formatting and maybe weird grammar, I'm phoneposting right now. I first started on major exchanges, but after trying Kucoin, Gate, binance etc, it just wasn't exactly what I was looking for. I migrated to "shitcoins" in effort to find legitimate projects only to find out most of them were pump and dumps, rug pulls or just had no longevity due to people wanting to make short term gains. Does Avax have a platform similar to dextools or boggedfinance where I can see start up projects? The one website I can find is avax-projects.com Project recommendations for someone new to the Avax chain? I keep hearing about Lydia finance staking but not much else. Probably will have more questions later as I think of them. Thank you in advance as I might not be able to reply for several hours.

- Transferring AVAX from Coinbase Pro to MetaMask wallet If I were to buy AVAX on Coinbase Pro and send it to my MetaMask wallet, will this immediately transfer to the C-Chain or will it go to the Ethereum mainnet? If it does go to the Ethereum mainnet, how would I transfer the AVAX to the C-Chain?

- Is there anywhere to sell xrp anymore? I've been sitting on some for a while and I know the SEC has made it impossible but I'm hoping for something as right now I need some kind of money and this is what I have to work with. Edit: thanks for the responses everyone, I'm kind of on the fence about it now as I have some cash coming in from another source and it isn't much nor is it on time but it will help when I get it. I definitely appreciate the comments and responses, I don't really want to sell any of my xrp if I don't have to but I was feeling a bit more desperate than I have before. 1 2

- Why are we so afraid of bear markets Alot of people on forum and Twitter seem to be tiptoeing around so afraid of a bear market coming around. I am personally looking forward to it. I have about 18 AVAX most accrued during this bull run. I hope a bear market comes so I can buy 2 AVAX w/ 100 bucks instead of one. I get selling on the way down and buying back ( I am personally just staking regardless) but I do think that people that are this afraid of a bear market may not really believe in the intrinsic value of AVAX or crypto in general. I am a firm believer that web3 will change the world be that a year from now or 5 years from now. AVAX will be a central player, maybe even THE central player in that world. When this bull run comes I am going to invest as much fiat as I possibly can. Play the long game and don't overleverage and wgmi

- Automating airdrop payments when ready Is there a way to automate the airdrops for payments when trustlines are set and the end of epoch has happened for an airdrop, for instance, once the airdrop pre-registration timeline has come to an end. We cannot see sending out thousands of tokens to each and every individual, what are we missing here, it would seem there would be more help in this area from ripple or xrpl community

- What to do with my XRP? Hi All, I have some XRP that had been locked up on an exchange for various reasons I don't want to get into but now I have access to it and can send it anywhere I want. While I am still waiting on my SongBird and Flare I am confused as to what to do with my XRP. I see there are a lot of airdrops happening and some need certain wallets or setups to be eligible, for example SOLO. There is also a lot of different wallets, I was looking at bifrost. I'd love to know what others have done, what wallets they are using, where to get the best return on their XPR, airdrops, passive income etc... I am not super into Defi or providing liquidity, I like low risk activities like staking and I don't mind lockups if the return is right. What are others doing out there, any specific wallets, airdrops, tools I should look into? Thanks!

- AVAX Tokenomics AVAX probably has my favorite tokenomics of any project. The only other one I could compare is Ethereum now that EIP1559 seems to be kicking into action. The fact that Ethereum is becoming deflationary is really cool, *HOWEVER* I'm blown away by how Avalanche implemented the hard cap into AVAX, such that it maintains a tokenomic quality not unlike that of BTC. Vitalik Buterin himself has even commented on how he finds Avalanche to be an interesting project. Charles Hoskinson has stated the same as well. Considering they are some of the more dominant smart-contract platforms, I think it really highlights how Avalanche's integrated AVAX tokenomics are an extremely enticing reason for using the platform. Ethereum burns some fees, and ideally makes it deflationary long term, however all AVAX is burned during the transaction process. This is also insane when you consider the DeFI growth that Avalanche has experienced recently. With TVL slowly growing (or rapidly depending on how you look at it!) I think the burning mechanism could really kick valuation discovery into high gear due to scarcity becoming an eventual consideration. I consider AVAX to maintain the hard-capped quality of BTC's tokenomics, in combination with Ethereum's deflationary measures as integrated by EIP1559, it's just wild! That is just so strangely bullish in my opinion. Perhaps it's just an interesting tokenomic model and we will see what happens in due time. Anyone else as excited about AVAX tokenomics as me? Maybe I'm just too stoked on the idea and had too much fun with the whitepaper!

- AVAX floor When will this correction finish? I know Daniele dumped on us but, what's a price floor you could think of? Fundamentally I know we're unique but we need to follow BTC's dominance and PA basics. In the hypothetical 42K floor, what's your take?

- Okay gang, I think I’m ready to do DeFi on AVAX So I've done BenQi before, just basic experimentation with fees and speeds. I have messed with Curve, also fun. AAVE etc. I guess I'm curious about all this TraderJoe business and autocompounding. What is a basic rundown of what I should expect out of this situation. I'm just providing LP to TraderJoe pools and collecting LP tokens if I'm not mistaken right? How would the autocompounder play into this, in this example. Would it just literally automatically compound my LP tokens and restake them into something or, is the autcompounder confined to something else? Thanks ahead for any advice. Also I apologize if my English isn't fantastic - it is not my first language!

- Free XRP- A pension fund, endowment, or nonprofit or individual that holds XRP (with sanding, harm) should SUE the SEC. The Federal Government cannot single out a specific person or business. **It's unconstitutional. Its unethical.** A federal agency cannot target companies. It needs to have fair and uniform processes. Targeting, pressuring a company stop its growth and innovation is wrong and unconstitutional. * There should be a major lawsuit against the SEC and expose what's going on with the SEC. * The SEC thought Ripple would go the route of Veritaseum. Settle and go away and let other companies take over its innovation and hard work. * Its time to sue. it's time to get loud. **What is the government doing? Everything the government does now is odd, strange and doesn't make sense. Ripple and its XRP innovation are helping to create US JOBS.** Hey US Government, do you want the Chinese digital communist currency to out innovate America, or do you want the vibrant passions of the American spirit to lead this new financial innovation. We need to expect and demand fair and open rules that are not selectively acted upon. No more specific targeting to keep companies that grow too quick (an out innovative their peers) in legal limbo. Government interference is helping other nations out innovate America. **What is the SEC doing?**

- Building an exchange for Carbon Credits on XRPL with Codius Hello everyone, I have been reading a lot about how carbon credits will be HUGE in the future. To purchase or use any service in the future, you will likely need money AND carbon offsets. I was considering building an exchange for carbon offsets on XRPL using Codius. I like Codius because it runs on Interledger Protocol, meaning that it is blockchain-agnostic. It's true IOV. Here's an example of what I want to build: [https://www.pharmaceutical-technology.com/research-reports/aircarbon-launches-global-carbon-exchange/](https://www.pharmaceutical-technology.com/research-reports/aircarbon-launches-global-carbon-exchange/) I'm a developer. But I need to chat with someone who has technical expertise building an exchanges on top of XRPL. Do you know how I can get started besides reading the documentation and running Google searches?

- Non-repudiation of transactions in Ripple Hello everyone, I am new to this forum and Ripple in particular and have a little technical question. I did some research and as far as I understand, Ripple nodes do not really store a blockchain, but a ledger of account balances, together with a hash referencing the previous ledger, and some additional meta data. So individual transactions are not publicly recorded. If I am right on this part: How does Ripple ensure non-repudiation? What do I mean by that: Imagine A makes a payment to B. The transaction is valid and stored in the ledger. The balances for A and B are settled. But some times later, B may claim that A did not pay anything. The fact that the balances are changed does not proof anything because B may have received some tokens from C; and A may have a smaller balance because it sent the tokens to D and so on. So, how do we proof that A made a payment to B at a certain time?

- The whole “Cryptocurrency mining is bad for the environment” is just one of many giant gaslighting techniques by the government to blame the average Joe for being detrimental to the environment rather than mega corporations and their factories. You always hear about how corporations and the media condescendingly lecture about how we're supposed to change our lifestyles in order to be greener all while they continue to spew toxic waste materials from their factories and manufacturing plants. What adds to the hypocrisy is that all these "environmentally progressive" leaders use their private jets to go to environment summits to barely pay attention to what's going on. Also, add to that the active fear-mongering towards nuclear energy, one of the greenest energy sources known to man, and twisting it into a nuclear apocalypse ticking time bomb. But let's talk about mining, how it's detrimental to the environment. No, I'm not talking about cryptocurrency mining, I'm talking about coal mining, which, long before the birth of Cryptocurrency, has been the black stain of the environment and contributed to climate change before crypto mining even existed. What's worse is that these mining companies use cheap labor in third world countries to mine for coal, which is one of the most dangerous and health hazardous jobs in the world, all for the sake of being as profitable as possible. All this is happening, yet these pretentious fucks want to lecture us cryptocurrency miners about how we're a bane to the environment? FUCK off. It wasn't my fault that oil and natural gas was used as the main power source of nations years before I was born. Countries had to literally invade and destroy nations and other peoples' lives for oil, yet the same politicians want to point their fingers at miners. You fucks wanna talk about the environment? Change your main power sources to green energy, and then we'll talk. But for now, I'm just gonna sit back and mute your voices over the sound of my 80 decibel miner. Edit: Removed a word Edit 2: I'm seeing numerous replies about Whataboutism. Your very own homes, with your plugged in electronics and appliances, are consuming a lot of energy (even when these electronics and appliances are not in use). These glamorous Christmas lights that people put up from November until Valentine's day, huge energy consumers. Main point is that as long as nations are using energy sources that generate pollution and greenhouse gases, every single necessity that we use (lights, cars, houses, computers) will negatively impact the environment. In addition to that, and this specifically applies to Americans, I keep hearing about HOAs that prohibit homeowners from installing solar roof panels on their homes just because they look ugly or ruin the aesthetics, and add to that people not liking wind turbines because they either look hideous or kill birds, or nuclear energy because people think that another Chernobyl is bound to happen. As long as this mentality is prevalent, expect nothing to change. 1 2

- Whatever happened to Roger Ver (BTC Jesus) with all the recent tax evasion posts and libertarian sentiment flying around I thought of Roger Ver (the founder of BTC Cash)... he was an important figure way back in 2017, in fact he's one of the people that moved me to purchase bitcoin... I found him while looking up bitcoin related videos on YouTube (not that many back then) it was some promo edit video where he showed up in one of the clips talking about war and the children that died in Iraq... I followed up within him since then but after he started bitcoin cash and all that nonsense he kinda fell out of my radar... I looked him up now and he seems to have moved to that tax free island and renounced his US citizenship! (something I was planning on on doing myself at one point) anybody knows why is he no longer active in the crypto space? or y did he give up bch to Craig?
