I have been using Eternl for a long time but tonight i opened it up and all of my 6 wallets have vanished. I have restarted my computer and I have made sure I am in Mainnet mode. I do have another computer where I also installed the wallets and everything is still there as it should be. I am using the brave browser extension. Does anyone have any idea? Could this be a security issue? I would have thought not since on the other computer my crypto still exists.Thursday, March 31st, 2022 at 12:56 #204997jshear-crypto
Eternl stores all wallet information locally in your browser. It is not stored on any servers, and never leaves your machine. Browsers have some default settings that prevent long term storage for apps as a general security feature. This means that every once in a while your browser will delete the wallet information on Eternl. You can change the setting for that website on most browsers. No need to worry about security, you can recover the wallets and go about your day normallyThursday, March 31st, 2022 at 12:56 #204998Domitjen
