With this recent incident, it shows there’s really a need to fight for a better web3. I came across this [thread](https://twitter.com/superanonymousk/status/1543637035176583168?s=20&t=7ZHy8fTyBNmBZdp0YzIO2w) on twitter where Kenny Li shared insights into what we can fix going forward. All the things he’s saying makes a lot of sense. He pointed out that on-chain data is no longer simply about transactions as new use cases develop in web3. It’s about who you are and what you do. Every dApp with which you connect, and all the things you do in those dApps will be recorded and made public.

This also serves as a wake up call that we have to be more extra cautious when disclosing personal information.
